First, BunkerMail asks for your first and last names in order to address
notification emails. Adding your regular name to BunkerMail notifications reduces
confusion for new users and helps identify who sent BunkerMail messages.
Second, BunkerMail asks for a digital image. You can simply take the default
image which is a BunkerMail logo or upload an image of your own This image is not
visible to anyone else in the system and is used to hold your cryptographic keys.
Third, BunkerMail asks for a password. This password is used to lock your
credential picture and must be at least medium strength. Note that BunkerMail grades
your password for strength as you type it into the enrollment form.
Step Four: Login and send messages
Once you have formulated your credential image BunkerMail stores it a special place
on your hard drive. From this point forward you only need your pasword to login
to BunkerMail from that machine. At the prompt, type your password and use BunkerMail
just as you would any other webmail application.
